For skiing and snowboarding, there are 50 km of slopes available. 16 lifts transport the guests. The winter sports area is situated between the elevations of 1,655 and 2,272 m.
The Astún ski resort is located in the central Pyrenees at the source of the Aragón River, right on the French border at Puerto de Somport/Col du Somport (1,640 m). The winter sports area is almost entirely above the tree line. The slopes of all levels of difficulty are almost entirely accessible by chairlifts. A cable car connection with the neighboring ski resort Candanchú has been approved and is scheduled to be implemented soon—a joint ski pass is already available.
