For skiing and snowboarding, there are 165 km of slopes and 7 km of ski routes available. 43 lifts transport the guests. The winter sports area is situated between the elevations of 1,250 and 2,514 m.
The Le Grand Domaine ski area connects St François Longchamp with Valmorel, Doucy-Combelouvière, and Celliers via the Col de la Madeleine. The slopes for skiing and snowboarding are mainly accessed by chairlifts, though some sections are only reachable by drag lifts. The winter sports area also offers a wide range of other snow activities such as cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and winter hiking trails.
