For skiing and snowboarding, there are 70 km of slopes available. 9 lifts transport the guests. The winter sports area is situated between the elevations of 1,550 and 2,737 m.
The Valfréjus ski area is located above Modane at the Fréjus Tunnel. From the lowest point in Le Charmaix, also known as Valfréjus 1550, the lifts take you over the Plateau d’Arrondaz to Punta Bagna. The ski and snowboard runs are mostly situated above the tree line. The winter sports area also offers toboggan runs, an ice skating rink, and other attractions.
