Evaluated by Skiresort, the world's largest test portal for ski resorts.
The evaluation is done as follows
Environmental protection of the ski resort Alpe Lusia – Moena/Bellamonte
The Alpe Lusia ski area is partly located in the Parco Naturale Paneveggio - Pale di San Martino. Since 2009, the Pala Group has been part of the UNESCO World Heritage Dolomites. In Bellamonte, there are two photovoltaic systems. The water for snowmaking is taken from Lago di Paneveggio. The cable cars and snow cannons in Bellamonte are powered entirely by renewable energy (hydropower). Good connections with public transport help protect nature. The ski huts mostly use regional products. Great importance is placed on waste separation in the ski area.
