Since the 2018/2019 winter season, the two neighboring ski areas Schöneben and Haideralm have joined forces as the Schöneben/Haideralm ski area. The various sections of the winter sports area are now conveniently connected for winter sports enthusiasts by slopes and lifts. The technical connection of the Schöneben/Haideralm ski area was completed in summer 2018 with the construction of two lift facilities and several runs. The 10-seater gondola St. Valentin-Schöneben provides the link from St. Valentin auf der Haide to Schöneben. There, you can connect to the 10-seater gondola Höllental and the newly created runs.

The Schöneben-Haideralm ski area stretches from the northern end of Lake Reschen across Schöneben and Rojental into St. Valentin auf der Haide south of the lake and up to Haideralm. It offers slopes of all levels of difficulty for relaxed skiing without waiting times. Thanks to its high altitude near the tri-border region of South Tyrol, North Tyrol, and Engadin, as well as efficient snowmaking systems, this sun-drenched winter sports area in Vinschgau guarantees snow reliability until late spring.

Other highlights of the Schöneben-Haideralm ski area include the well-known snowpark and the funslope at Schöneben, as well as the beautiful valley run from Haideralm down to St. Valentin. On nearby Lake Reschen, you can also enjoy ice skating, kiting, ice sailing, and cross-country skiing. The villages of Reschen, Graun, and Langtaufers are connected by ski buses.
