The new 10-seater gondola lift Col Valvacin replaces the Buffaure-Col Valvacin 4-seater chairlift. The modern lift system from Doppelmayr significantly improves comfort for guests during year-round operation to the Col de Valvacin viewpoint (2,354 m).
The 10-seater gondola lift Col Valvacin increases capacity to 2,600 people per hour. The travel time on the route is reduced to under 4 minutes. The route alignment was optimized compared to the previous lift due to wind exposure. The valley station was built underground so that it blends better into the high alpine landscape.
