Deer Valley offers an impressive range of slopes. Across six different mountains, you’ll find runs for all ability levels. Beginners, families, intermediates, and experts can all enjoy over 100 trails: groomed and ungroomed runs, long and wide slopes, easy runs, carving slopes, steep forest descents, tree skiing, steep bowls, cliffs, and powder slopes within the controlled ski area boundaries.
Deer Valley is one of the few ski resorts in the USA that does not allow snowboarders on its slopes. The number of skiers is limited, so the resort is never overcrowded. Deer Valley was the venue for the 2002 Salt Lake City Winter Olympics. The resort is located in the western foothills of the Rocky Mountains in the Wasatch Mountains.
