Located about 80 km from the city of Jalal-Abad, Arslanbob (Backcountry & Freeride) is considered the top destination for demanding ski tourers and freeriders. The altitudes range from 1,750 m to 3,500 m, allowing for a long winter season from November to April. There are no traditional ski lifts here. Instead, winter sports enthusiasts reach the starting points for their descents by snowmobiles, snowcats, or even on horseback.
