For skiing and snowboarding, there are 29 km of slopes available. 8 lifts transport the guests. The winter sports area is situated between the elevations of 1,252 and 2,765 m.
The Grands Montets ski area is located in the Vallée de Chamonix. From the mountaineering village of Argentière, the cable cars quickly reach the tree line. Most of the slopes for skiing and snowboarding are situated above 2,000 m. Part of the area is on a glacier, the Glacier des Rognons.
