From 21–22 November 2026, Gurgl will host a top-class sporting event. The 2026/27 winter season will officially kick off with an Audi FIS Ski World Cup men’s slalom on Saturday and a women’s slalom on Sunday. The races will start on the Kirchenkar slope in Hochgurgl and finish 320 metres above the Top Mountain Crosspoint.

From 18 to 20 March 2027, the Tyrolean Alps around Gurgl will become the setting for an extraordinary experience. The WIM HOF Adventure Days invite participants to discover their personal limits and explore the power of breathing, cold exposure and mental strength amidst the impressive mountain landscape of Gurgl.
Together with certified instructors Flo Mausser & Martina Sowinz, participants will experience the fundamentals and techniques of the Wim Hof Method. The programme combines targeted breathing exercises, cold training, movement sessions and immersive nature experiences to create a unique weekend full of energy, personal growth and new perspectives.
Whether during a guided ice bath in the Gurgler Ache, breathing sessions at over 2,000 metres above sea level, or an extraordinary winter hike in swimwear – the WIM HOF Adventure Days offer unforgettable moments that challenge both body and mind.
