1/17 Ski lifts/ropeways Hintertux Glacier (Hintertuxer Gletscher)
From the valley station in Hintertux, three modern funitels – Gletscherbus 1, 2, and 3 – take you comfortably and quickly up to the highest point of the Hintertux Glacier in three sections. A special highlight is Gletscherbus 3: with its mountain station at around 3,250 meters, it is the highest funitel in the world. Another fast connection to the glacier is provided by the 10-seater gondola Gefrorene Wand. It leads directly from the Tuxer Fernerhaus up into the high-alpine ski area and offers convenient access to the higher slopes. The other runs and slopes on the Hintertux Glacier are served by several modern chairlifts and drag lifts. Some of the chairlifts are equipped with heated seats and comfortable weather protection hoods, ensuring a pleasant ride even in wintry conditions.
