Evaluated by Skiresort, the world's largest test portal for ski resorts.
The evaluation is done as follows
Environmental protection of the ski resort Kasprowy Wierch – Zakopane
The Kasprowy Wierch ski area is located within the national park, and strict park regulations are observed. Access to the valley station is only possible by horse-drawn carriages or buses. There is no artificial snowmaking, and the slopes are only groomed and opened when there is sufficient natural snow. During the renovation of the cable car, no changes to the landscape were allowed, and the cable car was integrated into the existing stations. The transport capacity is limited to protect the natural environment. Gentle tourism is practiced here.
