The Knittelllifte ski area in the municipality of Elbigenalp is especially popular with beginners and families. Practice lifts in the valley and the Sonnenlift with its intermediate slope offer ideal opportunities to learn how to ski. In addition, race and gate training are offered at the ski area. The Knittellifte winter sports area also features a ski rental and a ski hut.
