The ski resort Le Mont-Dore is located in the Department of Puy-de-Dôme (France, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes).

The Mont-Dore ski area is located on the northern side of Puy de Sancy (1,886 m). Some of the slopes are below, and some are above the tree line. In good conditions, there is a direct connection to the SuperBesse ski area on the southern side of the extinct volcano.
