Environmental protection of the ski resort Peyragudes
The Peyragudes ski resort is committed to preserving nature. The 10-seater Skyvall gondola allows guests to reach the ski area from the valley without a long drive by car. In addition, ski buses are promoted. Since 2018, hybrid snow groomers have been in use to reduce diesel consumption. The grooming machines are equipped with the Snowsat satellite guidance system to distribute snow in a resource-efficient manner. Peyragudes is also a member of the National Charter for Sustainable Development of Mountain Resorts.
