House music originated in Chicago in the 1980s.
DJ Wesh plays beats from 14:00 – 16:00, inviting you to après-ski in Austria’s highest cafe. You can dance into the sunset on the free-floating sun terrace!

16 Jan 2027 // Harp Concert at Café 3440:
The harp is one of the oldest musical instruments in existence.
Barbara Plattner will fill Café 3440 with the sounds of her harp in the afternoon.

In the afternoon, DJ Spicy heats up the Sunnaalm. If you still haven’t had enough of après-ski on the mountain, you can continue in the valley: The bars in Mandarfen and Tieflehn form a club circle and put the rear Pitztal in a party mood.

Paul Heis – Harpo Sax – gets Café 3440 grooving in the afternoon when rhythm and joie de vivre come together over an aperitif.

In the afternoon, DJ Spicy will be heating things up with electronic dance music on the sun terrace at the Kristall glacier restaurant.

On Saturday, 17 April, we invite you to “Culinary Delights on the Glacier” at the Pitztal Glacier. Set against the impressive backdrop of the high-alpine glacier landscape, a special day of regional flavours and creative dishes awaits.

With the Culinary Pass, you can embark on a journey of taste through the ski area and sample the delicacies served at the individual culinary stations. Look forward to modern interpretations of traditional favourites, creative dishes and a variety of unique flavours.

A special highlight awaits you at Café 3,440 – high above the surrounding peaks and offering spectacular views of the mountain landscape.

Live musical entertainment creates the perfect atmosphere and rounds off this enjoyable day at the Pitztal Glacier.

24 Apr 2027 // DJ event at Café 3440:
With a magnificent view of the glacier world, Austria’s highest café will be transformed into a dance music happening at 3,440 meters above sea level on this day.

You should stop when it’s at its best! Sun, snow and spring temperatures – this is the attitude to life at the Pitztal Glacier at the beginning of May to celebrate the end of the ski season.

With DJ starting at 11 am and DJ starting at 1 pm on the sun terrace and a contest for the weirdest, fastest-looking goggles.
Après-ski party until 6 pm.

The Hexenkessl in Tieflehn hosts the season-closing party and gets the back of the Pitztal valley in a party mood.

For attending the holy mass, the ascent to the Pitztal Glacier with the Gletscherexpress is free of charge on this day from 11.30 am
Start at 2 pm at the Chapel of White Light // In case of bad weather, the mass will take place in the mountain restaurant Wildspitze
Festive service

At the request of the Pitztaler Gletscherbahn, the collection of offerings will be made available to needy families in the Imst deanery. Thank you very much for your support!
