Accommodation 
Skiing and snowboarding are no longer possible in the Raxalpe winter sports area. The Raxalpe drag lift has been decommissioned. The Rax cable car is still in operation and transports hikers and ski tourers for snowshoeing or ski touring on the Rax in the heart of the Vienna Alps in Lower Austria. Three marked winter hiking trails start from the mountain station of the Rax cable car. Snowshoes and poles can be rented at the mountain station.
