The Schöne Aussicht ski lift in Bad Steben has been decommissioned. There is no longer any lift operation. The snow-rich Frankenwald is a true paradise for winter sports enthusiasts: endless kilometers of groomed cross-country trails through untouched nature, a ski lift at the "Schöne Aussicht," and even a ski jumping hill. A winter walk on designated snow hiking trails is a peaceful experience.
