With the reconstruction at the Tiefenbachferner in Sölden, the previous drag lift rides of over two kilometers are now a thing of the past. The route is shortened to a brisk 859 meters, reducing the ride time from around 11.5 minutes to under 5 minutes—more than halving it. In addition to new valley and mountain stations and a new haul rope, modern control electronics ensure maximum operational reliability and easy maintenance. The reduced weight of the installation also significantly lowers energy consumption during operation.
