The Zinken lifts are located right on the Austrian-German border near Bad Dürrnberg above Hallein. This clearly laid-out ski area is especially popular with locals on both sides of the border. Families with children in particular appreciate the attractive slopes and the children's area away from the crowds. The Dürrnberg winter sports area is also popular with ski tourers and snowshoe hikers, and the Zinkenstüberl is a trendy destination.
